New Snapshot IAM Airdrip Policy

We’ve noticed a bad trend happening lately with voters puddle jumping between P-reps to try and get all of the airdrips. This unfortunately hurts the P-reps and their actual voters and here’s the reason:

I-score is calculated at every block which is every 2 seconds or around there if there’s no delay on chain. This means that when a voter jumps over to another P-rep that the P-rep they were voting for now doesn’t get that I-score counted for their end of day total. Then when they move back their votes at the end of term they collect the rewards as if they were there and counted for all day. We don’t like this and we’ve decided to start taking snapshots every 5 mins and average your votes over the entire day. Don’t want to lose out on ICX and IAM? Then don’t puddle jump!

This will take effect right after the end of term today.
